POC - Push to talk Over Cellular

PoC is – Push to talk over Cellular.
This new technology uses the push to talk communication (PTT) of traditional two way radio with the added benefit of  a nationwide / global coverage area!
In addition,,  PoC offers real time asset tracking / mapping of user locations
for fleet management.

PoC vs. LMR

LMR or Land Mobile Radios are limited by distance, in many cases require expensive FCC issued licenses, and can be pricey to setup  & “install”.
PTT Over Cellular (PoC) uses  existing cellular &  WiFi networks internet, giving you instant and secure communications across town or across the country.

February 2020    We are currently “pre”testing and evaluating Kenwood’s first entry into the PoC arena, the KWSA50K   Radio. (pictured below).
Kenwood  has not yet “officially” launched its PoC products, of which this is the first.  We are excited to be involved as pioneers in the PoC Revolution!
